Keith Breitbach

Keith Breitbach’s career in media and politics spans more than 25 years. Breitbach is a veteran of dozens of political races, having managed several congressional campaigns and having served as deputy campaign manager for the victorious US Senate re-election of Iowa’s Tom Harkin. Since arriving at Totten Communications in 1997, Keith has made significant contributions as a strategist for referenda victories in Massachusetts, Florida, Arizona, and Missouri.

His management and grassroots organizing skills were widely recognized when he managed a woefully underfunded race for Congress that held long-term incumbent Jim Leach, the dean of the Iowa delegation and Chairman of the House Banking Committee, to a mere 52 percent of the vote.

Keith has also provided communication services for clients ranging from the St. Louis Regional Commerce and Growth Association to the Missouri and Minnesota Democratic House Caucuses, South Dakota Democratic Party, the New Jersey Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee and the New Jersey State Senate Campaign Committee.

A former radio talk show host, Keith has a keen sense for how people communicate and he has proven beyond any doubt that he possesses an uncanny grasp of contemporary message delivery via social media sites and digital platforms. In fact, online videos produced by Breitbach have garnered more than 10 million viewings on Youtube and Facebook.

Keith manages our award winning commercial production team. His personal communication skills coupled with his mastery of web formats keep Totten Communications at the cutting edge of digital campaign applications.  Mr. Breitbach leads our consulting team in the design, scope and direction of Internet activities and e-campaign content.

Keith has also been a key strategist to the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers and was the lead producer and creative director for their 2012 social media micro-video series: Bee Mad @ the GOP campaign.  The entertaining animation video series went viral, garnering more than four million downloads on Facebook.  The video campaign was awarded the prestigious Pollie Award from the Association of American Political Consultants for the Best Use of Facebook for the Get Out the Vote effort during the 2012 election cycle.

Keith was also the recipient of the Pollie Award for the online video he produced for the 2010 special election victory of New Jersey State Senator Linda Greenstein.

Formally a professional photographer and the current host of a popular Internet radio program, Keith is also highly regarded for his creativity as a writer, director and voice talent.  He has developed marketing videos and television commercials for corporate clients including the Four Seasons Resorts, Hyatt Hotels, Ruby’s Diner, Inc. and TS restaurants of Hawaii and California.
