John Grote possesses more than twenty years of experience as an award winning broadcast television and video production professional.
A graduate of the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland, John has lent his talents to several of the top production houses in the greater Washington, DC metro area. His work has been showcased by National Geographic, ABC Network News, PBS, The Discovery Channel along with several of the nation’s premier cable channels and network television programs.
John’s experience also includes creating television commercials and programming for national and international corporate clients including the National Toyota Dealers, Under Armour, Progressive Auto Insurance, International Monetary Fund, America’s Most Wanted and HGTV to name just a few.
With his talent widely recognized throughout the industry, John’s skill has earned him numerous Telly, Communicator, and Vision Awards. In 2005, John received a Golden Cine for “Raising UP: Women of India” and in 2009, received the Aurora Platinum Award – Best in Show for his editing work, on the “Four Freedoms” a six-part series produced by Totten Communications for the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers.
